BitácarWhat Bitácar is
An app to track expenses, maintenance and condition for your vehicles. It works offline and keeps all information on your device.
By installing and using the app you accept these terms.
A logbook, not a technical advisor
- The preloaded service intervals are general reference values. Your manufacturer's manual always wins, and you can adjust them.
- Reminders are an aid, not a guarantee: they depend on you keeping the odometer current and on the system delivering the notification.
- The check-up questionnaire does not replace a professional inspection or your country's mandatory vehicle test.
- The condition score summarises what you answered; it is not a mechanical diagnosis.
- Decisions about your vehicle are yours. We are not liable for breakdowns, accidents, fines or costs arising from relying on the app alone.
Your data, your responsibility
Data lives on your device. Android can keep a copy in your own Google account and restore it when you reinstall, but it is not a guarantee: it depends on your phone settings, it keeps only the most recent copy and it does not include your photos.
The copy you can rely on is the one you export from Settings. If you lose the phone or uninstall the app without exporting a backup, the information may not be recoverable. We hold no copy of your data.
Licence and warranties
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app. You may not redistribute or resell it.
The app is provided as is. We do not warrant that it is free of errors or that it runs without interruption on every device.
Nothing in these terms limits rights granted to you by the law of your country that cannot be excluded by contract.
In-app purchases
Bitácar can be used for free. Some features are part of Bitácar Pro, which is paid: before buying you will see clearly what it includes and what it costs. Purchases are processed by Google Play, and refunds follow its policies.
What you have recorded is never locked: if you no longer have Pro, you can still view, edit and export your data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
